Answer Engine Optimization Services

Make your expertise useful at the moment a buyer asks a specific question, compares options or checks whether your offer fits.

At a glance

Answer engine optimization helps customers resolve specific buying uncertainties with clear, evidence-backed explanations. A useful answer does more than state a definition: it explains the conditions, limits and next decision relevant to the reader. TANTU AI turns approved sales and product knowledge into answers on the most appropriate pages, with a review process that checks whether the explanation is complete enough to act on. The work can support a broader SEO or GEO program, but no answer format or FAQ structure guarantees selection by a search platform.

AEO starts with an answer the customer needs

An answer should resolve a real uncertainty: whether a product supports a workflow, what implementation requires, what a service includes or how a buyer should compare options. A generic definition repeated across several pages is rarely the most useful next investment.

We interview the commercial owner or review approved sales material to identify recurring objections. Each selected question has a defined audience, buying stage, supporting evidence and next step.

Build a complete answer in a readable structure

An answer brief your team can approve
PartWhat it containsReview question
Direct responseA plain-language answer near the startCan a reader understand the point without scrolling?
Decision detailConditions, options, limits and trade-offsDoes it help the buyer choose?
EvidenceApproved specifications, examples or source referencesCan the claim be checked?
Next actionA relevant demo, quotation or consultation routeDoes the action match the reader’s intent?

Tables work well for true comparisons, while a step sequence can clarify an implementation process. The structure follows the question. We do not add large FAQ blocks simply to repeat keywords.

Decide when a question deserves its own page

Create a new page when it serves a distinct buyer task and has enough evidence to answer it fully. Add a section when the question belongs to an existing product or service decision. Consolidate pages when they compete to explain the same offer.

For example, a service pricing guide can explain budget drivers across packages, while the pricing page remains the authoritative source for current fees. The two pages link to each other and serve different tasks.

Make delivery measurable

  • Approved question map with the reason each question matters.
  • Content brief containing the decision, facts, sources and proposed action.
  • Edited page or section with reviewed headings and internal links.
  • Recorded publication and a scheduled factual review.
  • Sampled answer observations where included, separated from leads and sales.

Your review owner confirms factual accuracy and commercial fit. We check whether the page actually answers the question and whether related information is easy to find. Word count is a production limit, not a proxy for quality.

Combine AEO with the right foundations

Answers depend on a website people and search systems can access. We coordinate content work with the technical and brand-information backlog. Applicable structured data describes visible facts; it does not create an entitlement to an answer placement.

AEO content can be included within agreed managed-service allowances. A standalone workshop or a larger knowledge-base redesign requires a written scope. Start with a focused set of sales questions and the evidence your team can approve.

Write the conditions that make the answer true

Start with the direct response, then identify what changes it. Compatibility may depend on a product edition, implementation time on access and approvals, and service availability on the actual delivery scope. When the honest answer is conditional, explain the deciding factors in plain language rather than hiding them behind “contact us” or giving an unqualified yes.

For an illustrative question, “Can this tool connect to our reporting system?”, a useful answer identifies the supported connection method, required version and information needed to verify the proposed setup. It also states what has not been confirmed. The content brief should include an approved source for each condition and a relevant action for the remaining uncertainty. This produces a bounded answer that sales and technical reviewers can approve, instead of an attractive summary that overstates what the business can provide.

Accept the answer only when a reader can use it

Review the draft against a small set of realistic decision scenarios drawn from approved buyer questions. Can a suitable buyer recognize fit? Can an unsuitable buyer identify the limitation? Can an undecided buyer see exactly what information to supply next? This editorial check evaluates usefulness; it is not presented as a formal user-research study unless one has been separately scoped.

Return the draft for revision when the answer depends on unexplained terms, skips a material exception or sends every reader to the same generic form. Link to authoritative detail where necessary, but keep the essential conditions in the answer itself. Record the approved question, supporting facts and review owner so future product changes can trigger an update. Acceptance focuses on an accurate, actionable explanation and a coherent page journey. Subsequent search observations test representation separately and do not replace the factual review.

Common questions

How is AEO different from GEO?

AEO emphasizes useful answers to specific questions. GEO organizes the wider work of discovery, source evidence and observation across generative search experiences. The practical tasks often overlap.

Does an FAQ guarantee a rich result or AI citation?

No. We use FAQs when they help the reader. Markup and content format do not guarantee a search feature or recommendation.
